Balm Stick Wear Test

Five days. About two minutes a day. Thank you for helping us get this right before launch.

Please read before you start. This is an unreleased prototype, not a finished retail product.

Do not use it on broken, cracked or actively irritated skin, and keep it away from the eye area. If you have a known allergy to any common skincare ingredient, ask us for the ingredient list first.

If you get persistent stinging, redness, itching or discomfort, stop using it, wash it off, and tell us straight away. Do not push through it for the sake of the test.

We need honest feedback, including anything negative. Unflattering answers are the most useful ones.

Please do not change your normal routine or products for this test. We want to know how it behaves in your real life.

Fill this in once each day. Bookmark this page so you can come back to it.

How to apply, every day

  1. Cleanse as normal
  2. Any serum or treatment you normally use
  3. The balm. Two to three swipes, then blend it in with your fingertips
  4. Wait your normal amount of time
  5. Your usual SPF
  6. Your usual foundation or base makeup

Apply it to your whole face, or just the areas that normally give you trouble. Whatever is realistic for you. Then check in at around 4 hours and around 8 hours.

About you

Today

Please answer this one first, before reading the questions below.
If yes, how bad was it? 0 = nothing · 1 = slight, only noticed because I looked · 2 = obvious and annoying · 3 = bad, had to fix or redo my makeup

Two extra tests, on one day each

Test one. On one day only, swipe the balm on and do not blend it in. Carry on with the rest of your routine as normal. Skip this on the other days.

Test two. Some people use a balm stick as a midday top-up. On one day only, apply a small amount over your finished makeup partway through the day.

Final day only

Please leave this section blank until your last day.

Please be blunt. If something annoyed you, we would much rather hear it now than after launch.
